Terms of use

DrMoataz Ceph is a clinical decision-support and teaching tool for lateral cephalometric analysis, developed and owned by Dr. Moataz Alruwaithi. The software, its tracing templates, analysis logic, report formats, AI model and all content are protected by copyright. © 2026 Dr. Moataz Alruwaithi. All rights reserved.

  1. Licence. Access is personal and non-transferable, granted by the administrator to orthodontists and orthodontic residents. Sharing a login, copying the program or redistributing it in any form is not permitted.
  2. Clinical responsibility. Measurements and interpretations, including AI-suggested landmarks, are aids. The treating clinician remains responsible for landmark verification, diagnosis and treatment decisions.
  3. Patient data. Users must de-identify radiographs where required by their institution and must hold the necessary consent and approvals. Cases saved to the cloud are stored in Google Drive and Google Sheets under the administrator's Google account and are visible to the administrator for supervision and quality assurance.
  4. Declarations at registration. Every applicant confirms, with the request for access, four declarations: acceptance of these terms and of the intellectual-property notice; that patient consent and institutional approvals are obtained and records de-identified where required before any radiograph is uploaded; that the program is a decision-support aid and clinical responsibility remains with the clinician; and that the information supplied is accurate and the account is for personal professional use. The date of acceptance is recorded with the request. Use of the program after access is granted constitutes continued acceptance.
  5. Intellectual property. All rights in the program, including its name, logo, interface, tracing templates, analysis logic, norms presentation, report layouts, exports and the trained AI model, are reserved to Dr. Moataz Alruwaithi. No licence is granted other than the personal right of use described above. Reverse engineering, extraction of the model or templates, framing, or use in another product or course without written permission is prohibited.
  6. Activity record. Logins, case saves and exports are logged for supervision of training and for security.
  7. Availability. The service is provided as is, without warranty of uninterrupted availability. Keep your own exported copies of important cases.
  8. Attribution. The AI model was trained on the Aariz dataset (Khalid et al., CC BY 4.0). Norms follow the SBO-DO composite template.
